'to be young in a world that's burning' (2025)
is a performative and reflexive documentary that follows the director’s exploration of the world of film activism in Berlin. Overwhelmed by rising fascism and global injustice, the filmmaker decides to turn to film’s revolutionary and healing power, engaging in a meta-exploration of how documentaries can be used to catalyze change. The result of this journey is a mosaic of stories and reflections, all on the backdrop of a gritty yet full-of-life Berlin.
